We're having a blitz on cleaning up our inference right now. It's quite illuminating to trace a path through a question-answering process and it's shown up a lot of things to improve that we hadn't realised could happen. You'll be glad to hear that we've stopped the system from regularly checking whether Barack Obama is a leap year!
At first I expected the worst to clear up would be the weights and measurements conversions, or else something to do with places and their local time. But by far the most horrible and tangled was something that most children carry in their heads - basic family relationships. There are just so many ways of figuring out the same few facts! You can test yourself on this by checking out the Nijmegen riddle.
